Writing Your Life's Story: Autobiography and Memoir
Marlene Schiwy
February 2-March 22, 2012
Whether you are 18 or 80, you are living a story that is uniquely your own. You may want to write that story in order to understand your life’s purpose and direction more clearly, as a gift to family and friends, or with the intent to publish it. In any case, this workshop will introduce you to the endless creative possibilities of autobiographical writing. Class time will include informal lectures, discussion, writing time, and feedback for those who want it. We’ll also look at excerpts from a variety of published autobiographies and memoirs. Come and join us as we explore the fascinating territory of our own undiscovered lives.
