Marion Woodman,
LLD, DHL, PhD, is a Jungian Analyst, teacher and author of The Owl Was a Baker's Daughter; Addiction to Perfection; The Pregnant Virgin; The Ravaged Bridegroom; Leaving My Father's House; Conscious Femininity; Dancing in the Flames (with Elinor Dickson); Coming Home to Myself (with Jill Mellick); The Forsaken Garden: Four Conversations on the Deep Meaning of Environmental Illness, Marion Woodman, Ross Woodman, Sir Laurens van der Post, and Thomas Berry, edited by Nancy Ryley; The Maiden King (with Robert Bly); and Bone-Dying Into Life. A visionary in her own right, Marion Woodman has worked with the analytical psychology of C.G. Jung in an original and creative way. Mary Hamilton, MEd, a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada, was professor of dance technique and improvisation at the University of Western Ontario for 20 years. In 1980, she began working with Marion Woodman, combining creative movement with dream imagery. In 1991, Ann Skinner joined them, and together the 3 created and taught the BodySoul Rhythms(r) program. Mary is a member of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association, and is one of the authors of Leaving My Father's House: Journey to Conscious Femininity and the author of Under the Horse's Ass: A Love Story Human and Divine.
Ann Skinner is a former Head of Voice at Canada's Stratford Shakespearean Festival and the National Theatre School of Canada. From her clown and theatre training with Richard Pochinko in the 1970s, she adapted the process of working with masks to her exploration of the origins of the letters of the alphabet, and to the psychological process in the creation of BodySoul Rhythms(r). Her work has taken her across Canada, and to the UK, Europe, and the US. The learning never stops.
Faculty
Dorothy Anderson, PhD, is founder of The Adult Woman workshops. Former assistant dean at UCLA's Graduate School of Library and Information Science, she directed the Senior Fellows Program and taught interpersonal communication, leadership development, and conflict resolution. She brings a Jungian orientation to her speaking and consulting in areas relating to personal growth and leadership. She is also a SoulCollage facilitator and carves wood and stone in her California studio.

Martha de la Garza majored in Education at la Universidad de Monterrey. She established and directed la Biblioteca Central del Estado in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; she also founded and directed for 14 years el Centro de Educacion Inicial, AC, an enrichment program for infants and toddlers. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Marian Dunlea,
MSc, is a Jungian Analyst working in private practice in Dublin, Ireland. Her training and experience encompasses Psychoanalysis, Psychosynthesis, Authentic Movement, voice work, and theatre. She has taught in psychotherapy training institutes and in university programs, and she facilitates workshops nationally and internationally. She teaches regularly for the Marion Woodman Foundation, where her particular focus lies in working with dreams in an embodied form.
Dale Genge, BFA, CMA,
is Head of Voice at Langara College's professional theatre training program in Vancouver, where she has taught voice, speech, and classical text for 25 years. She is a Laban Movement Analyst, trained as a vocal coach at the Stratford Festival, Ontario, and has taught at the Banff Centre of the Arts, Vancouver Playhouse Acting School, and Simon Fraser University. She is a founding faculty member of the "Canadian National Voice Intensive" and has worked as voice coach for professional theatre companies in Canada and the US. She completed the BodySoulRhythms(r) Leadership Training.
Judith Harris is a Jungian Analyst with a diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich and an MA in Holistic Medicine and Psychology. She lives and maintains a private practice in London, Ontario, where she also teaches yoga. She has worked as an Associate Analyst with the original BSR team for many years. She is the author of Jung and Yoga: The Psyche-Body Connection.
Sheila Langston, BFA, has been teaching voice for 20 years, initially apprenticing with Ann Skinner at the National Theatre School in Montreal, Canada. She originally trained as an actress, and continues to perform as well as teach; she also has many years of movement experience. Sheila teaches at the Vancouver Film School and with Full Circle, a training program for Aboriginal artists. She has completed the BodySoul Rhythms(r) Leadership Training Program.
Patricia Llosa, MFA, is a visual artist and filmmaker with a background in archaeology and art history. She has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for the last 15 years as an administrator and educator. She is a candidate at the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association in New York City. A native of Peru, she has also lived in Israel and the US and has traveled extensively.
Paula Reeves, PhD, has taught annually with the original BSR team for more than 16 years. She is a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, and the author of Women's Intuition: Unlocking the Wisdom of the Body and Heart Sense: Unlocking Your Highest Purpose and Deepest Desires. She combines her knowledge of science, myth, ritual, movement, and body metaphors to work with the body's healing wisdom through the use of Mindful Mirroring. www.paulamreeves.com
Olivia Russell, graduate of University College Dublin, undertook Jungian Analytical Training with GAPS (Guild of Analytical Psychology and Spirituality) London. She is a member of GAPS and is UKCP Registered. While in London she was Seminar Leader and a member of the training committee for GAPS. She had a full-time practice in London and is now in practice in Dublin.
Tina Stromsted, PhD, MFT, ADTR, is a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist and Registered Dance Therapist in San Francisco. Past co-founder of the Authentic Movement Institute, she is an international teacher of BodySoul work, Authentic Movement, Dreamdancing, and somatic psychology, a published author, and she teaches at many universities and healing centers. Meg Wilbur, MA, MFA,
is a Jungian Analyst with a private practice in Los Angeles and California's central coast. She is a founding member, vice president, and faculty of the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California. She is Professor Emerita of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, where she directed plays and taught voice for the stage. She often works as Associate Analyst with the original BSR team.
Ross Woodman, PhD,
Professor Emeritus, University of Western Ontario, is the author of Sanity, Madness, Transformation: The Role of the Psyche in Romanticism; The Apocalyptic Vision in the Poetry of Shelley; and the upcoming Revelation and Knowledge. He has written numerous articles on the English Romantics, religion, poetry, and modern art, especially Canadian. He is the recipient of many awards for distinguished teaching and scholarship.
