An exploration from a Jungian perspective of the well-loved and rich fairy tale, ‘The Handless Maiden’, in three day-long workshops facilitated by Heather Keens and Joan Harcourt.

In these BodySoul Community Workshops, affiliated with the Marion Woodman Foundation, there will be an opportunity to explore your own journey to the conscious feminine and the inner positive masculine, through discussion, movement dream work and art, in a safe and contained setting.

In life's journey we, at times, stand on the threshold of change, a time to examine our choices. To experience the healing potential of change and be our authentic selves, we need to become aware of the inner patterns or archetypes that have shaped how we feel and how we act.

Over three workshops we will explore the relationship between mothers and daughters, the role of the crone, and of the masculine, by reflecting on the myth of Demeter and Persephone. These workshops offer opportunities to explore your own journey to conscious femininity, through images of the Divine Feminine, ritual, dance, dream work, personal sharing and art, in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Sundays, February 13, March 13 and April 10, 2011, 9:30 am (for 10:00 am start) – 4:00pm. You can attend one workshop or all three.

These are one day workshops, so they do not include accommodations. However, the Centre does have accommodations, so it would be possible for a participant to stay overnight.
