Embodying Conscious Femininity: A Women’s quest for Body & Soul at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Rhinebeck, New York

Linda Kawer and Sherry Wheaton
June 26-July 1, 2011

To be aware of one's own feelings, needs, and values and to have the courage to act on them is the essence of conscious femininity.

In this intensive workshop for body and soul, we have the opportunity to access and use our own symbols and symptoms to discover our authentic self, listen to our own dreams in our own body, and speak with a free and open voice.

We explore dreams, movement, voice, masks, creative expression, myths, and ritual, all of which form the core of this exploration. The safety of the temenos (sacred space) that we create allows for the healing of our old wounds and the emergence of new energies. This workshop is suited for health professionals and laypeople alike.

Based on the BodySoul Rhythms® Intensives of Marion Woodman, Ann Skinner, and Mary Hamilton, this workshop includes morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Therefore participants are required to stay on campus.
