Annual Women’s Retreat: Coming Home to Oneself
Carol Jacobs
April 29, 2018 - May 04, 2018
Montpelier, VA, United States
Event Navigation

We are born with an innate longing for connection and wholeness. We are called to a life of meaning. Carl Jung says: “Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”
In a safe and soulful sanctuary, join Carol Jacobs for an exploration of the “Sealskin/Soulskin,” story which is about a knowing and exploration of our soulful cycles of life. Responding to the guidance of inner wisdom we are led to integrate both the feminine and the masculine energies toward the gift of becoming who we are called to be.
This retreat of intentional solitude and exploration allows for listening to the inner self and the tuning out of distractions. Responding to the discerning of our own inner home – our soul, we deepen our inner and outer connections and speak and live our own unique truth.
Based on the foundational work of Carl Jung and Marion Woodman, our time together will include discussion, dreamwork, and a variety of experiential opportunities such as journaling, body awareness, art expression, journaling and voice, to provide the richness for our traveling together in a sacred circle of women.
