Reclaiming Our Lives, Reclaiming Our Earth

Polly Howells, Janice Stieber Rous, Jean Esther
April 21 – April 25, 2010

Today we as women are increasingly called to leadership. As we move into this role we run the risk of losing our relationship with the earth, both the earth we stand on and the earth of our own bodies. In this workshop we will follow the mythological trail of our ancient Sumerian sister Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth, who descended to the underworld to meet her shadow sister Ereshkigal and reclaim her authentic ground. We three, as workshop leaders, pledge to honor and support you wherever you are on your journey, and be with you on your next step.

We invite you to join us in the majestic beauty of the Berkshire Mountains, where we will weave silent meditation, music and movement, art, dreams, and poetry, to reveal the threads of our stories and enhance our deep connection to our selves and to the earth we inhabit.
