"What have you done with the garden that was entrusted to you?" – Antonio Machado

Do you long to live a creative life, but don't give yourself space and time? Has your creativity gone fallow? Slow down, explore, renew with Soul Gardening: Cultivating Your Creative Nature.

The roots of Soul Gardening grow out of a deep respect for each individual life and the creative fruit that life can bear. To cherish our soul's garden is to tend what moves us, what calls us, what brings us alive – both consciously and unconsciously.

Inspired by her work with the Jungian analyst Marion Woodman and BodySoul Rhythms®, facilitator Catharine Clarke gathers a circle of women to enter the creative process through the metaphor of the garden. Within a safe and nourishing space, this introductory workshop invites each participant to turn over the soil of her outworn beliefs, those stuck and stagnant places within, to seek fresh ground, a new creative beginning.

We will awaken our senses through stillness and movement. We will journal together. We will share our dreams and our words, not only to be heard but also to give voice to our inner life.

When we soul-garden, we honor our own truth and each others'. We meet our regenerative natures and connect more fully to the source of our being. With this, creativity flows.

We will gather on Saturday, May 5, from 9 am-5 pm in an intimate, at-home setting in Solana Beach, California, and complete our exploration on Sunday, May 6, from 9 am to 12 noon.

Participants depart with newfound or renewed creative vision and commitment, with seeds well planted.

(To deepen creative commitment, sustain momentum and enrich a circle of support, participants may continue their Soul Gardening through the eight-session Soul Gardening teleseminar series for which this workshop is a prerequisite. Catharine is also available for individual creative mentoring sessions.)
