The Black Madonna: Reclaiming the Dark – Towards full Feminine Consciousness

Joan Harcourt
October 28-29, 2011

The archetype of the Black Madonna brings a deep awareness of the sacredness of matter, a profound relationship to nature and awareness that sexuality is a delightful part of spirituality. Through her, we experience loving acceptance of our human limitations, our wounding and suffering; we learn to value and trust the wisdom of our bodies; to access our creativity and compassion, and to know deeply the living reality of nature and the interrelationship of all things.

This experiential workshop offers an opportunity to deepen your own journey of self-discovery; to have a body-felt experience of the sacredness of your own femininity using images, dreams, meditation, ritual, movement, dance, discussion and art, in a safe, held, sacred space.
