The Psychology and Neurobiology of Trauma: Freeing Our Stories-Metabolizing Our Trauma

Andrea Wells and Sherry Wheaton
August 13-15, 2010

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding    – Gilbran

For both professional health care providers and for those wishing to experience practices to help work through trauma in a safe and supportive space.

Much of the trauma we have experienced is not accessible to our linear, time-oriented left brain. Trauma is either buried deeply within the emotional brain, causing a multitude of psychological issues, or within the body, causing a host of somatic symptoms. We live as if captive to our life's story.

In the safety of this workshop we will begin to demystify our trauma stories, learning our strengths and our wisdom.
