"The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul." C.G. Jung
Symbol and metaphor are the language of the soul. Our dreams speak to us in that language each night, carrying insight and wisdom from the depths of the psyche. We are asked to attend to the images with care, to begin to understand this language. This monthly dream group is an opportunity to bring our dream images to life, and to mine the riches embedded within. We explore symbols using movement, voice, art and myth. As well, we learn basic Jungian terms as they relate to a living experience of the dream, and to the unfolding journey in each of us. The BodySoul work of Marion Woodman, Ann Skinner and Mary Hamilton is at the foundation of our dream group, and we will watch excerpts from DVD's as well as include some discussion of the BodySoul work. We develop a strong and safe container together, honouring the deep feminine wisdom of the body and the soul, encouraging the dream to enter consciousness.
